How to blog when nobody reads what you write

TTC signs that make no sense

TTC riders can all attest to the fact that they are more than likely to have seen this in a train's ad space.

One sign says "Protect your valuables" and depicts an iPod and iPhone as examples of expensive gadgets as they implore you to keep them out of sight so you do not get mugged, stabbed or stuck in conversation with someone who isn't all there.

The sign directly next to it says "Scan the QR code here" and prompts you to scan the QR code on the sign so that you can enter some mundane contest or get news alerts every three weeks or something to that effect.

Now, I for one don't know any non-valuable items which contain QR readers. In fact, as far as I know, the majority of items that scan QR codes are relatively expensive cell phones or iPods. By proxy, it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense to beg people to keep their stuff in their pockets while they miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime by not scanning the checkered box someone has paid to have publicized.

Does it?

I guess what I'm trying to say here is PICK ONE.
